It felt good to be be creative this afternoon.
To let my mind wander and simply produce.

I started this blog as a project in art.
To upload a photo collage, one a day every day.
That told a story.
My story. Ideas. What's going on inside my head.
Then I got busy.

Life swept me away.

SXSW and the present tense now
became too intense.
I was living in GO GO GO.
And continued to do so.
Easter Sunday I uploaded a book almost in it's entirety
that I'd arted almost a year ago.
For redemption.
From my lack of writing.
It didn't work.
I didn't get back on track.
Time past
...
Breakdown.
Reset.
It happened in the time frame i posted real pics.
...
Dinner.
With a friend.
A creative.
On a similar level of brain thinkage.
Inspiration through conversation.
It happened.
Here i go again...

Life is roaring. The path is calling. What exactly does it involve?

ART. I must produce art. this much is clear. 

the reality is this...

that i thrive off inspiration that's near. 

i like to give.

Washington DC

Drove around DC for a couple hours en route to Baltimore. Snapped some pics of big important buildings. Yep.

Ol' Virginia

Alrighty! Virginia welcomed us.

We visited a butterfly garden and discovered these woodsy winged butterflies...

were also pretty periwinkle when they fluttered.

At the same place was this "natural bridge" which mom and I trekked to see in the rain for photo ops. The downpour started 5 minutes after purchasing our tickets but we didn't let the fear of getting a little wet stop us.

From here we drove and drove and drove. I've seen LOTS of countryside.

Bonnaroo wasn't what I wanted. It became evident when as everyone else was assigned to work busily, no tasks were available for me. So I was supposed to sit. And wait around until the festival started two days later. And from here my job was to put on a happy face, be a cheerleader and sell lemonade for a dude who overworks and under appreciates his employees. Sorry. My time is more valuable than this. Lesson learned...

...and so I hit the road with my parents as they just happened to be driving through TN on their way to Baltimore for my uncle's wedding. Family vacation in full effect. I wish sis had been w us! 

Laura's bday was the 13th. I mailed her a package from VA and here's Canon and Cam smiling their *very best* in order to get cake BEFORE lunch. :)))

Tennessee!!

Little Rock to TN

Good morning from the road! Yesterday we spent the entire day in little rock exploring. Travel on an RV is slow and unpredictable. Finally the crew made it to town at 7pm. We were two happy hours in...

From here we drove 5ish hours into Tennessee. And stopped at 2am at a truck stop to sleep. Living quarters are snug trying to sleep 6 in here. Especially when josh gets the one bed to himself but he is after all the bossman. And my walkway was cozy. I slept super well! <3

Fresh new nails to hide the grime of camping. And my heart ring from when I decided November 20, 2012 to marry me. 

Bonnaroo last year was soooOOoo cute! And i'm excited to be a part of it again. Round two!

Snacks for the road.

And my new advertising strategy: to sticker toilet paper dispensers in bathrooms I visit. That seem appropriately placed of course. Convenience stores and bars are the primary victims. 

One of my missions on this 14hr road trip to Tennessee is to make lots of barrettes to sell at HNC orrrrr at the festival when i have like 8 of them in my hair. seriously! here's my first of hopefully many!

...in Little Rock, Ark today until 4, when the Just Squeezed mobiles roll in to pick us up. Not sure what happens from there but it'll be an adventure for sure! Hope your day is happy! XO! <3
